Spacer Hackathon & Conference

What is it

Spacer Hackathon and Conference is the event where people who are excited about space and astronomy technologies can get together to hack big and small. With the help of our friends fromArcher Software, we are launching a unique experience for space enthusiasts. This will not just be a hackathon, but also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the latest space technologies, innovations, and aspirations.

This first event will take place in Dnepropetrovsk – the city of rockets. With over 60 years of rocket building experience and space culture, Dnepropetrovsk is becoming a power-house of space talent and innovation.

What to expect

There will be stuff to play around with (hardware, software, data); practical workshops; speakers from the industry and of course, prizes! You’ll get a chance to catch up with other inspired Spacers, learn what’s hot right now in a new era of space exploration and, who knows, maybe launch a new space startup together.

The event will last over 24 hours. You’ll be able either to join one of the teams or simply attend for educational purpose (by the way, there will be cool toys to play around with). If you are chosen for one of the teams, you’ll be able to compete for the main prize with them – a sponsor package that includes monetary and non-monetary perks to help you implement your project.

All participating projects will be published after the event on Spacer for people from all over the world to contribute and help you develop it (all the rights for the project will belong to you). Spacer partners including NASA and other space companies might contact you for further development. At the same time, our career partners from all over the world will be following the event and participants closely.
