HUB Chernihiv under the auspices of GDG Kyiv and Woman Techmakers Ukraine is opening the registration for the participation in Checkathon, which in turn is the first hackathon dedicated to social projects and initiatives of Chernihiv.
The main goal of the event is to make the city more beautiful, comfortable and smarter for its citizens and guests.
Main goals:
— Support of current initiatives;
— Implementation of new ideas;
— Creation of conditions for long-term projects.
Main fields:
— Transport;
— Cycling infrastructure;
— Tourism
— Culture;
— Education.
The event is going to have the following schedule:
1. Registration that will be in operation until the necessary number of people is gathered.
2. Announcement of the final date, time and venue.
3. Meeting of participants and the start of the event.
3.1. Short presentations of ideas and projects that our participants will describe in advance in their registration form.
3.2. Voting procedure where all the participants of registered teams will take place, which is aimed at choosing an original idea that will finally become the basis of the hackathon;
3.3. After the voting procedure there will be a coding marathon;
3.4. Transitional checkpoints made to measure the progress ;
3.5. Presentation of results (no slides, but pure coding);
4. Assessment of results, distribution of awards.
